July 22, 2002 ( Monday, July 22, 2002 ) I'm back from my week away and it was so great. Aside from the monstrous blister I have, I'm in a way regretting the closure of Rock Lake Camp 2002. I had so much fun it's not even funny. I had 7 boys in my cabin, 3 of which I had last year. All of them were the funneiest kids I've ever met in my life. One was able to recite entire episodes of Spongebob Squarepants word for word now that's talent. We had like 10 pillow fights in our cabin along with one major pillow fight involving the whole camp. The dinners were so cool too. We had backwards night, twins night, date night, messy hair night, pj night, no talking night (i lost). I even made a new friend. Well, he's a different kind of friend. He's only 7 and he had a really hard time fitting in at camp so I took it upon myself to become his friend, and he's the coolest little kid I've ever met in my life. And on top of all that, the religious aspect really worked on me this year. I really managed to pull alot out of the daily teachings, even if they were geared towards little children. All in all, I would do it again in a heartbeat. So now, back to life in Cranbrook. Work is going ok, busy busy busy. I start supervising next week, so that should be fun. Although i have to work on my birthday :( Everything else in life is going good. I move in like 2 weeks!....well, goodnight |
