December 15, 2002 ( Sunday, December 15, 2002 ) hoo-damn right. anyways. I made cookies today. I decided to go the non-traditional route and made gingerbread cookies in the shape of camels. I supposed that you could tie camels into christmas (the wise men etc..). Ok...so...I decided to give the un-heralded christmas heroes the spotlight of being a christmas cookie. Camels get shafted all the time. I mean, why? There's nothing wrong with camels. Sure, they spit when provoked but I mean c'mon, no animal is perfect. That's why I chose the camel to represent my gingerbread cookies. I was going to ice all the cookies, but halfway through the batch, the icing bag exploded...so...that didn't happen. I'm trying to do christmas-y things now. Like yesterday I....ok...starting today, I'm going to try and do something christmas related. Like today I made cookies and tried to watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (which I don't understand, they're not on vacation!?). Tomorrow I'll.....watch....a christmas movie..OH! I'll watch Mickey's House of Mouse. *yayness* My bed has christmas lights around the headboard and it looks nifty. Other than that, my bedroom is completley non-christmas. So far, at least. Maybe one day this week I'll find a way to decorate my room. Well...merry 3rd sunday of advent *sings* chestnuts roasting on an open fire..... |
