April 15, 2003 ( Tuesday, April 15, 2003 ) I've noticed that for some reason conflict always seems to arise in my little comment area....oh well, it's better to be known as the "conflict blog" than nothing at all. So, training for EK 10K is going pretty good, on Saturday I walked a lot of the little course that I had mapped out and last night I ran most of it, so gradually I'm getting better. I might take tonight off, because my legs hurt (a lot of the course is up-hill). I wrote my first exam today (how was your chemistry test Ginn?). The test was fairly easy....I took the bus today and there was like, a field trip or something, and there were like a million kids on this bus and absolutley no place to sit, and barely any room to stand..it was rather scary. I also visited my Grandma today, and it was quite interesting. Not only was she in a very good (and humorous) mood, but I got a good look at what some of my future working conditions are going to be like. I'm applying for the Human Service course which pretty much consists of field social work. It's working in seniors homes and halfway houses and stuff. You pretty much do activities and stuff, everything except health related things. So, yes...I must go now oh, forgot to put in the quote between my grandma and her friend talking about my mom "Isn't that nice, your daughter is so smart"- Mrs.Nimsick "Not really" - my Grandma |
