June 02, 2003 ( Monday, June 02, 2003 ) Foot Plum Anyone? So, I sprained (possibly tore something in) my ankle yesterday. Foolish me left the vaccum cord unplugged on the stairs and when I stepped on it, I hit the floor like a bomb scare victim. I definatly know that something is wrong due to plum-size swollen lump on foot and when I did fall, I heard the audible "crunch" sound your body makes when you did something stupid. What's really shitty, is that I start work today, so hopefully things will churn out smooth like butter. In other news which involves less of me damaging my body, and more audience interaction, I'm trying to think of ways to get increased visitors to the good 'ole Dead Cucumber..any suggestions? I"m thinkin' website buttons, banners, free...umm...free virtual cake, chili cookoffs, baby-naming contests, I'm thinking BIG-TIME visitor flow!.... I was looking at the playlist for the Calgary Stampede, and dammit, if I only had money and didn't have to work, I would SO be there. Treble Charger, Chantal Kreviasuk, Sam Roberts, Theory of a Deadman, Holly McNarland....and the list goes on...next year, if I have money and no job (what are the odds?) I'm SO buying lot's of expensive cereal and fruit snacks and going to the stampede... |
