August 25, 2003 ( Monday, August 25, 2003 ) I had an interesting day to say the least. My aunt and uncle got an evacuation notice yesterday and the freaky thing is they only live about 2 or 3km away from my house. We were supposed to leave for Calgary yesterday but stayed here until today. Last night, my dad asked me to pack some of my more valuable belongings into a box, just in case something happened while I was away. Then, last night we watched the flames coming over the side of a mountain....I'm thouroughly freaked. |
