November 25, 2003 ( Tuesday, November 25, 2003 ) Fucker! *thows a bucket of hate at Blogger* So I'm fully aware that I haven't posted in a while, but...deal...yeah, I'm talking to you... I guess I could summarize the last week and a bit... Last week I went and played pool with Chris and Ginn and further lived up to my reputation of being a very bad pool player. Most of my shots were flukes, although I had fun just playing. I think I went to the Superstore like 4 times last week too. Chris and I found a bunch of stuff that we want. Mostly kitchen-y stuff like dishes and....stuff....yeah... And yeah, I've been sick for like a week... So then on Wednesday, I didn't have class so I stayed home and did homework. About 2:00 I went upstairs to make soup. I reached into the cupboard, picked up the soup can and then accidently dropped it on the floor and said "Oh, I'm sorry about that" and picked it back up. I paused, and then thought to myself "What the fuck!? No more cough syrup today for me" Then on Thursday I stayed the night at Chris' house so that I wouldn't have to walk from my house to the bus station..that was fun. We watched Nightmare Before Christmas and Chris ate rat on a stick *shudder* So yes my weekend with Scott! woot! Friday morning I woke up early (like 5:45)and walked to the bus station in the snow. Just after Kimberely the bus starting doing this weird jerking motion so the driver pulled over, restarted the bus and drove, then it did it again. So after 3 times of this happening, the bus finally just died. So we sat and waited...for 2 hours! It was so cold because the heat wouldn't turn on without the bus being on...so I was tired,cold, and hungry...not impressed. I made it to Radium 2 hours late and finally got to the hotel room that Scott and I had booked. It was pretty cool, a huge bed and a jacuzzi (woot!) The cave things on the roof were a little frightning...but everything was good. We picked kind of a poopy time to go to that hotel though as their pool was closed and they were draining the hot tub on Saturday. But at least we had the jacuzzi. On Friday night we went to Invermere to check out their "light up" thing...kinda lame...kinda really lame....kinda only a big tree with lights.....we ended up buying some candy and coming back to the hotel. We had some fun doing Yoga and body painting and we tested out the Jacuzzi...much fun was had. Saturday we slept in...I think we finally left the room at like 5 but only for a short little walk and then we came back. We made some food (I made Ichiban noodles in the coffee pot...heh heh). Then we made and decorated a gingerbread house and little gingerbread versions of us. We listened and sang to some songs, and used the jacuzzi again. We walked around trying to find somewhere to eat but couldn't ,so went back to Invermere again to buy food. Sunday we slept in again but still managed to check out roughly on time. We went to Invermere for lunch before finally making it to the Hot Springs. They were so cool. The perfect temperature.....it was snowing and the steam was really neat. Very romantic, especially at night when everything was really dark and it was snowing lots. It was so cool. Then finally we had to go at 8 because I had to catch the bus back to Cranbrook at 10. We talked for a bit and then, sadly, we had to leave. The whole weekend was so much fun, just relaxing and hanging out. It was great :) So yes, hopefully that satisfies all you people.... |
