Man, I'm getting really lazy about this posting thing.

Actually I've been rather busy lately, I have been meaning to post, I really have.

Last week was kind of a jumble. I had tests and assignments and junk all over the place. Scott came down for his job interview (which he ended up getting!!) and we went for a bike ride before he left. It was so great to be riding so early in the year. Although there was snow and mud (I was so muddy it was gross). I took him on the Rollercoaster Tr. and he seemed to enjoy it. I went again today on the same route, although much faster. When I go biking out in the middle of nowhere it strikes me how beautiful the landscape around Cranbrook is. As ugly as the city can be, just a few seconds away is a pristine area that's just quiet and calm and just...wow.

So, the Nickelback concert was really awesome. Chris, Erin, and I ended up front row center. I literally mean that we could not get any closer to stage. It had it's down sides, we got crushed and there were a lot of jerks who tried to ruin the evening, but I still think it was incredible. I think going to a concert makes me appreciate a band or artist more. I mean, I didn't really love Nickelback before, but now, after seeing them live, I can honestly say that I really enjoy their music. They have great stage presence too. I want to go to more concerts. Unfortunately, it's Cranbrook, so that doesn't happen very often.

Speaking of music, I've been on a music kick lately. Everybody knows my obsession with Sarah Slean...well, I think I'm addicted to most Canadian female singers. I love Sarah, Jann Arden is second on the list (I want to see her in concert so bad), Nelly Furtado, Sarah Mclaughlan, Alanis Morrisette, Celine, some Shania, Sarah Harmer....yeah...I don't know why but I enjoy female singers moreso than males. I just think that female singers have more emotion, more power in their music. And lyrically, Sarah Slean and Jann Arden are two of the greatest I've ever heard. I don't think I've been amazed by male vocals or lyrics (except for Coldplay) in a long time. The world needs a new Bryan Adams or Elton John.

Well, I'm off to bed....
