July 04, 2004 ( Sunday, July 04, 2004 ) I don't know what to start with. Hmm.... Work is going pretty good. We've had our stressfull moments, but we've also had fun. I got paid to see Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, so that was neat :) Um..hmm... Last week, Scott and I climbed up Lakit Mountain to the lookout. It was scary getting to the start of the trail (the road was like...death road), but the views from the top were incredible. There's an outhouse at the top with a window on the side so you can see the views while you do your buisness. There's also a little cabin type thing at the top where you can stay if it's too late or snowy or whatever to go back down. It took us about 2 hours to climb up and about 30 minutes to come back down. On Friday Chris, Scott, and I tried to go camping but every campground was packed, which ended up being a good thing as we found out that my tent was broken. On the 17 & 18th, Scott and I are going to Calgary for the Nelly Furtado concert. I'm really excited!!! Lately, things have been happening so fast that it's hard to remember everything that's happened. In the midst of finishing school, finding a job, actually working, and all the other stuff, I've been neglecting people in my life that I shouldn't be. A part of me wanted to reach out and bring back all the people who I've been ignoring or neglecting, but a part of me knew that I had so much on my plate, so little time. Scott helped me realize something. He helped me put things into perspective. So, to those who I've been distant from in the last few weeks or even months. I'm sorry, I will make it up to you. |
