November 25, 2004 ( Thursday, November 25, 2004 ) so far today it's been kind of a mish-mashed day. After I woke Scott up to go to work, I fell back asleep only to be woken up by my phone, I rushed to get it hoping it was Wal-Mart about a job but I missed the phone. I panicked because my battery was like almost dead and then Scott's phone rang and it was my mom who had phoned to say that it was really icy outside. So I went back to sleep and then woke up when Scott was ready to drive me home. We left and as soon as I hit the cement path between the house and the driveway I did one of those really exaggerated slips on the ice. It was funny, but incredibly embarrassing. So then I watched Scott skate around on the road and noticed that there was a dear just standing there across the street and I was like WTF!? So then Scott left to walk to work because he was scared his truck wouldn't make it. So now I'm here at Scott's, debating whether or not to take the bus home or to just walk. I'd walk but it's all uphill and...well...I'm clumsy enough without adding ice into the equation. *slips* So, I did get the job. I think it's doing inventory which is alright. It's a paycheck at least. |
