November 24, 2004 ( Wednesday, November 24, 2004 ) So today I have another job interview at Wal-Mart. I don't understand why they can't just go by the first one, I mean, I answered a billion questions already, and I mean, it's wal-mart...I didn't know they had such an intense screening process. I'm almost expecting to get called back and have to perform the wal-mart cheer in front a panel of American Idol type judges. "I'm sorry, you didn't put enough passion into the W, try again" But, Wal-Mart will have to do for now. Scott and I are both trying, with no real leads so far, to find employment in other cities (Lethbridge, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo). Hopefully something soon will pop up and reveal a nice paying job in a nice place. Well, I'm off to face another interview with the life size portrait of mr.wal-mart starting down my neck. *for such a short post, I managed to get Wal-Mart in about 5 times....well...6 now* *post interview update* So the interview went well. New manager, new room, no creepy portrait. It was insanely short, but sounded promising. I'm supposed to find out within the next couple days so that would be nice. |
