February 18, 2005 ( Friday, February 18, 2005 ) what's this? another post? and so quickly...wow...blogger has tightened it's leash. Anyways....let us see what has happened since the last time I wrote. Annalise came to visit, which was pleasant. Somehow in deciding about which movie to watch we got onto the topic of Annalise acting like a gay italian. I love how when she's passionate about telling you a story (regardless if it's a scary story or excited story) her pitch gets so high...*hugs annalise* So we ended up going to Hitch (which I will probably review in Catholic Burger). It was pretty good. Erin was like..the heat nazi on the way home though. "It almost usually sometimes stays warm" Then today I had a job interview with the place that I was supposed to have a job interview with in....September...and it wasn't so much an interview as a few questions about stuff and then talking about me working. It was strange because there was never a "well, I think we'll hire you" kind of phrase it just transitioned from "Hi, here's some questions" to "so, you'll be doing this and blah blah blah". So that's good. It's just casual for now but it's going to be a lot better than just wal-mart. So that's a huge plus. I start next thursday doing orientation so that's great. So I come out of the office and my mom is there (it's not as weird it may seem as she sort of works there, but not really). And I walk into this conversation about ugly children and a girl picking her nose and eating it. So after that little bit of weirdness, she tells me that my dad had surgery today for two hernias. It was like so random. She just said "What are you doing later?" and I said nothing and then she asked if I could help get my dad from the hospital later today. It's nice that I'm informed of stuff like that AFTER the fact. sheesh. Scott, I love you :) |
