June 22, 2005 ( Wednesday, June 22, 2005 ) Holy crap is it ever hot out! It went from miserable and raining to unbearable heat in like...a day. Yesterday I got called in to work like...two hours in advance for a midnight shift. HELLO RED BULL! It actually wasn't bad, all of the plate sized peanut butter cookies I made on my last shift were gone...apparently they were good. Work was good though, I did like mega-cleaning...if only I did the same thing at home..heh...Around 6 when the sun started to come up over the mountains I opened the curtains in the front room and read some of my book..it was a very nice moment... In other news....the couple that won the $6.7 million from Cranbrook, I went to College with the lady! Can you believe that? We both did our practicum at Amy Woodlands....I couldn't believe that she won the lottery...go Tina! Wish I had like .01 percent of that.... So my latest brain obession is this proposed bike trip to Calgary. I have most of it planned out except for one thing. Someone to go with. The trip could be possible as a solo trip as I plan to spend my nights camping in campgrounds, it's just it'd be nice to go with someone. The proposed trip stands as such: Day One: Cranbrook to Jaffray area Day Two: Jaffray to Fernie Day Three: Fernie to Elkford Day Four: Elkford to Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, AB via Elk Pass Day Five: Peter Lougheed to Canmore Day Six: Canmore to Calgary so yes...a six day bike trip along the Trans Canada Trail. Any takers? All you need is a bike and a backpack...and the other stuff on the list that I made up...but think about it...it would be an adventure! C'mon.... |
