June 26, 2005 ( Sunday, June 26, 2005 ) Scott is out on a job call so I figured I'd do some blogging. Ah, what a weird word..blog. Anyways...Not much has really happened. I just kinda keep living the same formula...work, sleep, hang out with Scott. Not that I'm complaining. It could be much much worse. I started the Summer Rec program on Thursday. My boss brought out the the box that we kinda just shoved everything in from last year and I had to sort through it. Man were we unorganized..lol....Then I found this fax that made me laugh for like 10 minutes. Here's the story: Last summer, we planned a trip to Silverwood Theme Park for our summer program. I was kind of designated as being in charge of contacting them for rates and stuff. We figured it'd be easier to fax them back and forth rather than phone. One day when Corrine and I were either way too tired or had way too much sugar, were writing a fax to the bookings guy at Silverwood and started to write the world's most enthusiastic letter ever. Every sentence ended with an exclamation point. It went something along the lines this: "Hi (name)!! Thanks for all the help you giving us regarding our trip to Silverwood! We really appreciate it! We're all super excited to make our trip to Silverwood! We'll let you know how the trip goes! Thanks! Corrine! and Joel!" And then we actually faxed it which made me laugh even more...this poor guy probably thought we were absolutely nuts... So yes, this summer should be fun...we're doing another trip to Silverwood, a few camping trips, trips to Lethbridge, Fernie, Creston, Radium...and a bunch of other stuff...Combined with working at the group home I should be working like non-stop this summer... I'm obsessed with the following: "Fix You" by Coldplay "Goodnight Goodnight" and "Middle of Nowhere" by Hot Hot Heat space pop popsicles |
