September 28, 2005 ( Wednesday, September 28, 2005 ) well, it seems as if things are working out. Thankfully. Last week I was so stressed about not having a job. I hadn't heard back from the places I had applied to when I got a temporary contract at the Community Living Center. I was so so happy. It's just for six weeks but it will help out so much. I'm not sure what will happen at the end of October but I'm trying not to worry about it until the time comes. It seems like all I've done is swimming and bowling at work in the last week. I think I've gone bowling three times and swimming four times. Exciting stuff. I'm also doing some respite work on the weekends for a few clients, so far it's been pretty cool. I think we might be going to the Ice game this sunday.woo.hoo. I'm so sad that Rock Star INXS is over. I was kind of ticked that J.D. won. I'm glad that a Canadian won, but I didn't like his singing. One of the singers that I did really like was Suzie. I'm glad she didn't win, only because that means she'll be releasing her own music which I think will be better than INXS. It's strange, this year I've bought more CDs than I've ever bought in a year. Let's see if I can remember all of them.... Feist Tegan and Sara Melissa McClelland The Killers Scissor Sisters James Blunt Hot Hot Heat Metric C oldplay. That's a lot for me, as I used to only buy like...one or two CDs a year. Metric just released their new one today and Sarah Harmer's new CD comes out in a few weeks I just found out. Yay for music! Scott and I celebrated our two year anniversary yesterday. Two years. I can't really believe it. I'm so lucky to have him. Words will never ever describe how much he means to me. It's such an amazing feeling to know that I'm not just me, I'm him too. We're one. I'm so happy :) |
