December 10, 2005 ( Saturday, December 10, 2005 ) so even though I know Christmas is only two weeks away, I still haven't made any considerable effort to buy/finish the gifts that I have picked out for people. I'm really trying to make a hefty portion of the gifts I give out this year and I think I have really really cool ideas, I just haven't made anything yet. So what do I do? Post on blogger of course.... It's so weird to look back to last year at this time and see how things have changed so much. Last year I was working at Wal-Mart, I hadn't really moved in with Scott, and I didn't really know what I wanted in life. Well, now I work in the field that I wanted, I live with my love, and...well...in a lot of ways I still don't know what I want. I know that I want to work doing what I'm doing, but in terms of location and all of that stuff, I don't really think about too much anymore.  Last night was our big christmas party for work. There was something like 300 people there, it was a lot of fun. I went over to the 7th Street (group home where i work) table and then the DJ started playing music so we all kind of went out on the dancefloor and I was pushing one of the clients in a wheelchair and it was just a nice feeling to see everyone having so much fun. Somehow our group of people dancing knocked over the christmas tree (it was staff, not clients that did it). Too funny. I sat on Santa's knee. well, I suppose I should get my act together and start on some christmas presents. Oh! everyone should go here and vote! |
