January 13, 2006 ( Friday, January 13, 2006 ) Well.... So far 2006 seems to be a pretty good year, all 13 days of it. Scott applied for this management job for Enterprise and he's had two interviews so far. They flew him down to Vancouver today to meet the GM and have a final interview. I hope he gets it. It would make things so much better I think. It's hard with both of us not really having permanent jobs. So far everything has worked out fairly well, but it'd be nice to alleviate some of the stress that bogs us down. I went swimming today. Only for about 45 minutes. It was nice, although my eyes are burning a tad now. I can't wait for the spring to come so I can ride my bike and be outside for more than 15 minutes before freezing. I've already got a bike trip planned for this year. My cousin Megan told me that she'd want to come along this time so hopefully she can. This year I'm hoping to go from Cranbrook to Penticton. It should take about 8 days. I have to see what working conditions will look like around the time I'd like to go before I can decide if I'll do it or not..... |
