March 22, 2006 ( Wednesday, March 22, 2006 ) I get my own planning comittee! I talked to my boss (also my aunt) at work and she LOVES the idea of fundraising for the bike ride. I'm going to be fundraising for the Cranbrook Society for Community Living (where I work). Planning hasn't officially started yet but she said that she'll get behind it and help me with whatever I need. That's great news! And on top of that, my cousin Megan is joining me on the trip! The fundraising part hasn't been entirely thought out yet but there are plans in mind to have some of the younger clients and a staff come along and meet us at every stop. We're hoping to raise $1/km. That equals $600! You know what that means....open your wallets people! |
