June 13, 2006 ( Tuesday, June 13, 2006 ) I can't believe how busy life has been lately. I keep saying "Oh next week it'll slow down" ,but it never does. I think I've been saying that since February. I'm on the last day of a 12 day work stretch. I feel like I could pass out at the drop of a pin. Thank god I booked this weekend off (my first weekend...wait...my first 2 days off in a row since April 7!) I want to do something fun this weekend, it is Sam Steele Days after all. I got my work schedule last week and aside from a few crappy weeks, it looks pretty good. Scott and I want to go to Silverwood in July, hopefully with other people which would be fun. Last week I received my signing bonuses from work and I was pleasantly surprised. I decided to spend half on something fun, so I'm gonna be going to Toronto again in August. It should be fun! Sarah Slean has been in Paris all year (excpet for the art gallery thing in Feb) and this is her first concert in Canada all year so there'll be a whole whack of fans there which'll a blast. And then a few days after I get back from that, is my bike trip. So far about $410 has been raised which is great, there's about 2 months left and I know that I can hit my goal of $600. So, next monday I'll be an Uncle again! My brother and his girlfriend set the date for the c-section, which is a little weird to know the exact time that a baby will be born, but it'll be cool. Ciara is so cute, she's talking so much now and she's so energetic. My parents have this guy living with them from Mexico, his name is Roberto, and he's teaching her how to speak in Spanish. The other night she kept saying "Ola!". Too cute. Well, now I'm off to work.....hoorah.... |
