I figure it's been almost a month since I've posted and I have the day off so why not....

I finally have a day off. So far this January I've been working a messed up schedule of regular shifts mixed with night shifts and random days in between. Needless to say I get a bit crabby by the end of it...thankfully I have some days where I can just build up my energy for the next load.

Scott and I are buying something, but I've been sworn to secrecy. It's large...and it's....ok I can't say anymore or else I'll give it away. But it will be nice when it is purchased.

In other news, for those who might not know, I'm biking across British Columbia this year. I swear once you go on your first bike trip, you're hooked. I'm joining a group called the Otesha Project which is a enviromnental organization. We're starting in Vancouver (other tours are happening at the same time in various locations across Canada) and travelling to just about Calgary. Along the way we're spending a few days in each town, visiting schools and organizations and putting on a performance/presentation about how to make better choices regarding the environment. It should be a really fun trip, but it's going to be 2 months long. It's hard to believe that in just 3 months I'll be getting ready to go. So yes, you'll probably hear a lot about it, so be prepared.
