well, here I go...in just 5 hours I will be getting ready to board the bus to Vancouver to start a journey that is bound to test me.

I truly support all of the encouragement and support that all of you have given to me. Your words will bounce around in my head during the tough times and push me to the tops of mountains. Without the motivation and support that I've received, I wouldn't have even signed up, thank you.

I'm not sure how often I will be able to post during the next couple months, I will certainly try my best to keep in touch with all of you through e-mails, blogs, postcards and any other method to let you know how things are going. I'm sifting through my nerves and trying to stay borderline optimistic, I hope that the anxiousness turns into excitement.

In other news...

I won a silver medal yesterday at the KNA 10km Race! I beat my previous personal best of 51:50 and finished yesterday in 46:38, placing 2nd in my age catagory. I'm quite happy!
